This policy explains what data Nitea collects, why, and the choices you have. It applies alongside our Terms of Service.
1. Who we are
Nitea (“we”, “us”) operates nitea.cc and the Nitea analytics service. We are the controller of the account data described below. Contact: [[email protected]].
2. Data we collect
Account data. Your email address, name, surname, and username. When you sign in with Google or GitHub, we receive your email address, name and profile picture from them. Your profile picture is the one from Google or GitHub, one you upload, or one generated from your account ID.
Session data. When you sign in we store a session record including your IP address and browser user agent, used to keep you signed in and protect your account.
Plugin telemetry. Data your plugins send through the Nitea SDK, such as errors and stack traces, performance metrics, server platform and version, and aggregate player activity.
3. How we use it
- to create and secure your account and send you sign-in codes;
- to store, process, and show your plugin analytics in the dashboard;
- to maintain, debug, and improve the Service;
- to contact you about important changes to the Service or these policies.
4. Legal bases
Where the GDPR applies, we process account and session data to perform our contract with you, and telemetry to provide the Service you requested. Security and improvement processing relies on our legitimate interests.
5. Cookies
We use only essential cookies needed to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
6. Sharing and processors
We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers that help us run Nitea, such as:
- Supabase, for database hosting;
- our hosting provider, for serving the website and API;
- Google and GitHub, when you sign in with them.
We may also disclose data when required by law.
7. Retention
We keep account data while your account is active. Telemetry is retained for [retention period]. When you delete your account we delete or anonymize your data within [30 days], except where we must keep it by law.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your data, and to object to or restrict processing. Email us to exercise them. You can also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
9. Security
Data is encrypted in transit, sign-in codes are stored hashed and expire after five minutes, and access to production data is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
10. Children
Nitea accounts are intended for plugin developers aged [16] or older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children through accounts.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will change the “last updated” date above and notify you of material changes by email or in the dashboard.
